About the Builder

Meraki Custom Homes was founded in February of 2022 by a visionary father, Jose Alonzo Valdez III, and his two ambitious sons, Jacob and Joey. Often referred to as “The New Kids On The Block,” Jose and his sons set a blaze in their journey to becoming first generation builders. Jose’s love for building was an anomaly in his family, abounding with medical professionals, law enforcement officers, and other various types of business owners. Prior to entering the world of custom homes, the three developers were primarily taking on full house remodels, additions, and commercial demos across the city of San Antonio and its surrounding areas. The dream for these builders is to create a company that ensures pristine built, water tight, energy efficient homes with passion that will last for generations to come.

Meraki Custom Homes was founded in February of 2022 with a vision in creating energy efficient and watertight homes built with the inclination to sustain growing families guaranteeing a home that will last through generations. In the process of building this company the builders needed a name that best describes the way they work. Meraki is a Greek term that is often used to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love, which is the epitome in which our company builds their homes.
