Education Foundation
The mission of the Greater San Antonio Education Foundation (GSAEF) is to foster an environment in the San Antonio area that promotes homeownership for individuals and families.
The Greater San Antonio Education Foundation will promote homeownership and the building industry supporting economic growth, housing affordability, professionalism, and continuing job skills through scholarships, seminars, specialized training, and various on-going projects that give to the community.
The Greater San Antonio Education Foundation is incorporated by the State of Texas, and is an IRS 501 (c)(3) non-profit entity.
Scholarships
The Greater San Antonio Education Foundation gives annual scholarships to students in the Construction Science Management Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio and the Construction Technology program at St. Phillip’s College- Southwest Campus. GSAEF is committed to supporting students who wish to find careers in the building trades.
Annual funds are generated for the scholarship program through construction of the GSAEF Charity Home in partnership with Armadillo Homes. GSABA members donate time, money, materials and labor to this noble cause. During the 2016-2017 academic year, GSAEF awarded nearly $35,000 in scholarships.
