Roster/Directory: This GSABA “phonebook” is a widely used tool among members. Each member company is listed three times: alphabetically by representative name, alphabetically by company name, and by company category (i.e., Home Builders, Plumbers, etc.). Members may be interested in advertising in the Roster's "yellow pages". Call the GSABA office for a current rate sheet for the Roster/Directory.
Parade of Homes, Spring Tour of Homes, and Builders Showcase Expo: Putting your product on display to other GSABA members and the public could give you the exposure to launch your company. If you are prepared to grow, putting your product in the Parade, or taking a booth at the Builders Showcase Expo will provide quality traffic. GSABA's Builders Showcase Expo has set itself apart from other home shows with attention-getting highlights, such as the home that is constructed inside the AlamoDome! The home improvement celebrities, Hill Country Living area, and traffic-generating tools are used to make an impact with booth-holders. Also, GSABA members enjoy a 10% discount off of the booth costs.
Events: Through GSABA events such as the Parade of Homes or Chili Cook-Offs, members have forums to discuss industry issues with their peers. Through participation or advertising at events, members will see business development happen before their eyes. GSABA events are a one-stop-shop for members wishing to gain exposure for the product or service, meet other members, and in turn make valuable business connections.
Marketing: GSABA staff can help with your marketing efforts! Associate members - have you thought about direct mail marketing? GSABA will provide a full set of mailing labels, pre-printed with our builder members' names and addresses. We can also assist with marketing pieces!
Monthly Meetings: Attending meetings like the Associates Council (for Associate members only) or the Small Builders Council (for Builder members only) can provide mounds of helpful contacts. Use these meetings to swap ideas and leads, make beneficial alliances, and get to know members that are already involved with the Association.
